Just because I can't afford much of a wedding doesn't mean I can't make something incredible happen.
The same can be true for you.
Maybe your parents aren't helping to fund The Big Day. Or maybe they are, but you're a bargain hunter nonetheless. Perhaps you need a different way to afford everything you want. I'm here to show you the way I've found.
I've structured this site so that Northeast Ohio wedding vendors, brides and grooms may use it to discover and put to use bartering relationships. I also invite brides and grooms to read my 30 Days of Wedding Questions, which is the condensed advice I gathered through 30 days of wedding-related Facebook posts.
Best advice I've heard so far: When you’re planning a wedding, everything feels like a must-have. Use the 10-10-10 rule that was featured in O! Magazine: When making a decision, ask yourself: “What will be the effects of this decision in 10 minutes, 10 months, and 10 years?” It will help you keep everything in perspective. Not everything is important.
For those things that are, there's money and maybe, there's bartering.
